Summary: The adopted amendment implements Senate Bill 57, 89th Texas Legislature, Regular Session, 2025, by establishing requirements to ensure school systems provide equal access to safety during emergency incidents, required drills, and district-approved exercises for students and district personnel with access and functional needs. The amendment was adopted with changes since published as proposed.
